SJI's in Autumn

We said goodbye to the wee lads Thursday afternoon and set off for the islands yesterday. 

A quick note regarding childcare in the time of Covid. Indeed, a case was reported last week at the daycare used by our son and daughter-in-law...a child. Fortunately, Mac and Ren were not exposed because they were with us. The faciliy is now closed. We will return home if needed but for now Caleb and Leslie are going to make it work by flexing work schedules.

We arrived at Blake yesterday afternoon. Not many boats here, although a boatload of Cub Scouts arrived to camp for the weekend.

ToG will make the short trip to Eagle Harbor today, then we have a reservation at Langley for Sunday night.

Yesterday was beautiful, however, the forecast for the coming days calls for decreasing temps and rain. Maybe some wind. Welcome to fall boating!
