Good and Boring

We made it across the border with just a hint of attitude. Border agent on the phone: "You have a house plant on board and you don't know what kind it is?" I won't go into detail, but yes, Nick, I could have been more deferential.

We arrived to near empty guest docks at Roche Harbor.

Seablush:

Crossing the Strait of Juan de Fuca was a breeze; not sure we've ever seen it so calm. Admiralty Inlet was almost glassy. Long, uneventful...and boring. I'll take it.

Passed by the American Spirit:

We arrived at Pt. Hudson Marina, Port Townsend, yesterday, planning to stay two nights to weather the predicted wind event. One headline read: Wild Windy Weather Wallops Western Washington Wednesday. Yes, we were walloped last night. Much better this morning but still rocking a bit.
