AT Gathering at Telegraph Harbour Marina

We arrived at Telegraph Harbour Marina on Thetis Island on Wednesday. ToG was the third AT to arrive, now there are a total of 28!

It's been fun to meet new people and connect with a few we'd met previously. ToG is the only white boat here, and one of just two 362's. Not sure if there are any 365's.

The other boats are a colorful mix of mostly 34's and 41/435's. No 395's or 485's.

This marina is a small, very nicely run facility in a beautiful setting just off "The Cut" between Thetis and Penelakut  (a First Nation's island). The two are separated by a very narrow channel. The owners Ron and Tara, along with their two full-time staffers, do a fantastic job.

The Thetis Island Marina & Restaurant is also in the harbor, a couple mile walk up and around the hill. This is also how you get to the ferry that runs between Thetis and the town of Chamainus on Vancouver Island, or "the mainland" to locals.

Scenery along the walk:

There was a potluck yesterday evening, and tonight a catered pig roast! The weather has been less than ideal, with record-breaking cold and rain for this area. There was a bit of a break yesterday afternoon...just hoping for that again today.
