Gig Harbor Weekend Getaway

The weather cooperated so we started up ToG yesterday and left the Foss to meet Coorie Doon and crew in Gig Harbor for a quick overnight cruise. 

We haven't boated since our trip just before Thanksgiving. It feels good to be on the water...not just sitting in our slip. Nice to be able to just go...since we are living aboard temporarily...no packing and hauling, just going...

It was fun to motor by our new condo!

Both boats found plenty of space at Jerisich dock. We went for a couple of walks and saw a few sunbreaks. We even bundled up and went for a dinghy ride!

It is foggy this morning. We are in no hurry to get back. Again, such a different experience when all we have to do is motor back to our slip...no packing up stuff or cleaning...just pull in and we're home!

Tomorrow we sign closing documents. The remainder of the week will be busy with further closing activities, final cleaning and packing at the townhouse...and moving on Friday!
