Rain, rain, rain...

This photo captures our cruise home today. For awhile, that's all we could see...a bit eerie. Perflecty flat water, rain, and fog.

We left La Conner yesterday early and had a fairly calm journey south to Edmonds.

Passing Langley, we saw the old Washington State ferry that used to be in Olympia. Looked really weird there.
I've written about this before but I never tire of watching the Saratoga come into the dock in Edmonds. The captain standing outside the pilot house with remote in hand, maneuvering a huge boat in a tight space. (We think he does this a bit faster than necessary, but it is fun to watch.)

Nice to see the newly refurbished Brown's Point light station:

We will watch the little boys this weekend, and maybe head out again next week if the weather cooperates.
