Summer Cruise 2021 | Garrison Bay

We've been to Garrison Bay many times but have never ventured beyond English Camp and up to Mt. Young. (Trail is called Young Hill.) The views are stunning and include many of the clustered waterways as well as islands and beyond to Sydney, B.C. A fairly steep climb but gradual, on a nice path. 

We didn't go all the way to the top but the main scenic overlook is well worth the trip. The area includes a small cemetery and a beautiful Garry Oak restoration site.

The weather trend is warming to the mid to high 70's. It's been perfect really.

The Coorie Doon plans to join us today. We hope to do some shrimping later this week! (We enjoyed delicious Louis salads last night, using the last of our fresh crab.)
