Hot Weather Boating

Stay Awhile joined us on Saturday in Gig Harbor, with the two cats, Phoebe and Henry. Cats are curious and it was entertaining to watch them hop from boat to boat, checking out every little nook and cranny.

We have been curious to experience hot weather in our new boat. We expect it will stay relatively cool...today may be the true test, as temps are expected just below ninety degrees.

Our plan is to head to Jarrell Cove and find a spot to anchor where the boat will catch afternoon shade.

I spent a few hours with my dad, mom and sisters yesterday. (Sister Cheryl picked me up near the dock.) It was a nice visit and a chance to catch up.

It was also our 35th wedding anniversary!
