We finally have a boat!

Touch of Gray is safely tucked in her home berth. Our appreciation and thanks to Steve Z. for his help.

You can just see the American Tug burgee at the bow in the photo below. It was getting a workout in yesterday’s wind. We’ve never flown a burgee before, so we’ll see if we like it long-term. We took down the American flag on the stern…it was making a racket!

There is much to do to get our gear on board and stowed…lots to organize and figure out. Labels to make. We both enjoy this part of boating – and we have plenty of time over the next few weeks (while we wait for grandson #2) to putter.

Yesterday, our good friends Steve S. and Tracey joined us for a champagne toast and dinner. They recently sold their Ranger Tug and are in the market for another boat. In the meantime, we hope to have them aboard ToG! (Steve fits in the 2nd berth – we tested it.)

We have an appointment set for Touch of Gray graphics installation, and will set up time with Volvo for orientation and the addition of the cruise control feature.

Looking forward to a new baby, more sunshine, less wind…and spring boating!
